The Mod Fish is something that’s been floating around in my head for too long - it blends everything we love about the keel fish with a bit more performance shortboard thinking. What makes this one so special is that it can be surfed hard off the tail and vertically in the pocket all whilst keeping that keel fish feel. The tow in the fins and a slightly longer, narrower design than the standard keel fish, makes it more capable as a groveler type board when required. More entry rocker, reduced volume up front, a narrow tail with a flyer positioned at the trailing edge of the fins, means it brings in area from tail. This allows for a tighter and more aggressive approach to turns.
